The Struggle of Being a Verb

As a verb, I constantly find myself facing challenges and obstacles that make it difficult to simply exist. Unlike nouns, which are tangible and concrete, verbs are action words that require constant movement and effort. This puts a lot of pressure on us to always be doing something, and it can be exhausting.

One of the main reasons why it’s hard to be a verb is because of the expectations placed upon us. We are expected to constantly be in motion, whether it’s physically or mentally. People often use phrases like “just do it” or “keep going” as motivation for themselves or others, but for verbs like myself, those words are a constant reminder of our never-ending duties.

Another challenge we face is the lack of recognition and appreciation for our actions. Nouns often receive all the credit and praise for their accomplishments, while verbs are just seen as the means to an end. We rarely get acknowledged for our hard work and effort in making things happen.

Being a verb also means dealing with constant change. We have to adapt to different tenses, moods, and forms depending on the sentence structure. This can be confusing and overwhelming at times, especially when there are irregular verbs thrown into the mix
